Sol Lewitt’s 2004 Photography set “28 Spheres Lit from the Top and all Four Sides, In All Combinations” is examined within a story told about its exhibition in two cities - and what the discrepancies suggest. Beginning with the story of a fan, Jordan Alexander Key, we enter into analysis through his eyes, his calculations, his ideas. The story layers against familiar movies, and analyzes the work through math, music, history, and physical geometry.
